Applications & Precautions

Applications Rate

Pour SULPHUR in an appropriate dusting equipment, preferably a motorised duster, and dust the crop as follows for the control of powdery mildew in cashew tree, apply between 125 to 250gms per tree depending on the size of the tree. The rate is equivalent to about 8.75 to 17.5kg/ha for one application round.

Other Crops:

Wheat, barley, vegetables, potatoes, roses and ornamentals, apply 1.5-2.0kg/ha.

Precaution:

Wear protective clothing such as gumboots, hand glove and mask when applying the product. Air respirators must be worn and extra precaution must be taken to avoid inhaling the dust. Do not smoke or eat while handling the product or during application. Carefully clean the dusting equipment and remove the contaminated clothes, gloves and wash the thoroughly before re use.

Symtoms of Poisoning:

Combination of nausea, vomiting, irritation to eyes, bronchial tube and lung tissues.

First AID Instruction:

Move the affected person from the danger zone to a well-ventilated room or to fresh air.

If in contact to eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly by using clean water for 10 min to l5min.. If irritation persists seek medical advice If swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling the back the throat.

Note:

do not induce vomiting if the patient is unconscious. Contact the physician for immediate attention.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. Do not store or handle near an open flame or heat sources.

Disposal:

Do not use container. Puncture and burnin a suitable incinerator or bury in a recommended area.

WHO class U. It is unlikely to cause any hazard under normal condition of use.
